With Quetim there's no need to type SMS on your mobile phone any more. This means no more hassle with multi-tap or the cursed(!) T9 text input.

What you need:
Any java-enabled camera phone and a computer with internet.

It all started long ago with ICQ (I-Seek-You). Back then instant messaging was equivalent to ICQ. Then came a few new kids on the block: AOL Messenger and later MSN Messenger.

The new kids quickly grew bigger and even more players entered the scene such as Yahoo Messenger. Of course the big downside to this diversity of messenger services was that your friends were all sooner or later on different networks. To chat with Bob you needed ICQ, but Klaas didn't know better and used MSN. And no question Achmed would only chat with you through Yahoo Messenger.

Don't try this at home kids!

What's the fastest way to find a new tune you've just heard on the radio?

Emule and Edonkey, for those who have way too much time on their hands.
Torrents, only interesting if you're looking for the whole album.

According to Google's mobile guide Google has just released Google maps especially for Symbian Series 60 3rd edition (the OS that runs on all recent Nokia smartphones).
I haven't tried it yet, but it is said to start up and run faster. It's also more efficient with the phone's ram and last but not least it supports the N95's internal GPS!

More and more airlines allow you to pick your own seats on their website before take-off. If you're lucky you get to see how the seats are mapped so at least you know which seats are window-side and which are isle-side.

Personally I don't move around much anyway when shooting a video, but I'll definitely keep this one in mind when I shoot my first car chase with my cameraphone.

Just another day at work.
Listening to "Big girls don't cry" by Fergie on the radio.
Ever noticed that you get to like an average song more when you hear it like ten-thousand-gazillion times? Why is this?.

One of the coolest toys on my N95 is definitely Sports Tracker.
It's not part of the standard applications shipped with your shiny new N95. You need to download and install the app first at Nokia's Research and Beta pages. It actually works on all recent Nokia smartphones like the N-series and the E-series. However, you need GPS, be it built-in or an additional bluetooth GPS device.
